Measured engine oil and it seems just a little low. Couldn't get to the autobox dipstick cos the pipes are too hot!
Can't really tell from the pic but the level was under the criss cross section.
The puddle on the road seems to made up of pure oil.
When I took the car for a 3-4 mile run to warm up the oil before measuring it didn't overheat and drove fine. Also no 'Idiot Lamp' came on but of course that might be due to the dash being kaputt!
While under the bonnet I noticed I have a coolant leak too. Just to put the cream on the day's Cake Of Woe! When cooled I'll loosen the jubilee and see if it is just the hose that has perished/clip needs tightening or if the plastic spigot (?) is busteded.
