Last night I watched a documentary on BBC4 about the ANTIKYTHERA MECHANISM which is an ancient Greek computer/astronomical calendar that totally changes our view of ancient science and technology. A jaw dropping bit of kit that was at least 1500 years ahead of its time.
I had only finished watching it when Youngest Son came in to ask for help. He needed to know what day the 22nd of this month is and couldn't work it out from the calendar...
Not sure what that says about Man's Development...or Brit Schools.
