First thing this morning they reopened the Hospital old side egress. Probably only temporarily due to the building work but it means the daily battle for parking spaces will be even worse- our road being, as it is, the Hospital Staff Car Park.
Youngest went up to Eldest Son's room today (he's a braver man than me) and brought down all the MOULDY cups, cutlery, glasses and plates that have been festering up there since the last Clearance. I soaked the entire "Botulism Factory" in an industrial strength hot bleach and cleaner solution before putting them in the dishwasher for the first of several hot washes. Notice is to prevent people from using them before I'm sure they are totally sterile.
