Got a call from Aged Mother, who still reads the Rabbit Breeders Weekly. Seems Crippled Son's former girlfriend (who he was with for a couple of years) has lost her case for damages at the High Court. Long and short of it is that she had ended up with her head in the wheel arch of the car, brains dripping onto the tarmac and the doctors told her Dad that she'd be a vegetable if she survived. She however recovered to a degree that can only be described as a FUCKING MIRACLE! This is her a couple of years after her accident- while she was studying at College (so much for 'veg'!), looking like $million and knocking the wellies off local yokels !
